Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà announced today that former U.S. President Jimmy Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ, former Algerian Foreign Minister and member of the Elders Lakhdar Brahimi, Judge Joseph Warioba, and Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Center President and CEO Dr. John Hardman will lead the Center’s international election observation delegation to observe Sudan’s elections, which are scheduled to begin on April 11.
The Center’s long-term observers have assessed pre-election developments throughout the country since August 2009. They are now joined by more than 60 international short-term observers who will assess the electoral environment surrounding polling, counting, and vote tabulation.
