Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Center Statement on Israel-Hamas Ceasefire

ATLANTA (Jan. 15, 2025) – Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà welcomes the pending ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas and encourages the Israeli cabinet to ratify and implement it quickly. Given the devastating humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the Center urges Israel and Egypt to commence the immediate and unhindered delivery of aid to those in urgent need. The United States and the international community should provide strong and consistent support for humanitarian relief, ensure that steps in the agreement are implemented, and work to stop the war permanently. Looking ahead, global efforts must prioritize Gaza’s reconstruction and empower Palestinians to rebuild their communities and establish sustainable, legitimate governance.
