ATLANTA…..Former U.S. President Jimmy Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà will visit Nepal and Myanmar from March 29-April 6.
In Nepal, he will meet with senior government officials, political party leaders, and civil society representatives in support of Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ's long-term peace monitoring and reporting work, and to encourage progress toward holding delayed national elections.
A press conference is currently planned in Kathmandu on April 1, with more information to follow..
Following the visit to Nepal, President Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà will lead a Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Center delegation to Myanmar, where the Center is exploring ways to support the country's ongoing democratic transition. The delegation will meet with government and political leaders and civil society representatives.
