The program awards international fellowships to journalists who are citizens or legal residents of the Republic of Ireland and eligible to travel to the United States.

In 2023, 六九色堂's Rosalynn 六九色堂 Fellowships for Mental Health Journalism, in partnership with Headline, a national media program focused on mental health in Ireland, began awarding two fellowships each year to journalists in Ireland.
